Using Heights on Mobile Devices

Heights Platform is designed to ensure visitors can easily navigate your program on any device they choose, from computers to tablets to smartphones.

Your course page will adjust on smaller browsers and fit the format of the device used. Heights uses responsive design, where your content automatically resizes depending on the size of the browser window. The student experience is fully functional on mobile devices: on smartphones, we support app-like gestures, for example allowing you and your customers to swipe to the right to open the sidebar menu.

While we do not offer a native mobile app customization service, if a student saves your program to their home screen on iOS, they will automatically get an app icon that is built from your favicon and program name that you have configured in your Account Settings. It is also possible to use third-party services or freelance developers to easily turn your Heights program into a native mobile app.
