European Payment Options (iDEAL and others)

Some countries have their own popular payment services in addition to PayPal and Credit/Debit card payment. In the Netherlands, iDEAL is a popular way of accepting payment. We support iDEAL, Bancontact, Sofort, Przelewy24 and many other country specific payment services with our PayPal integration. 

When you connect your PayPal account as a payment gateway, users will see these additional options as buttons below the PayPal button depending on what country they are in. There is no additional configuration required on your part to enable such features, and you can receive payments in your PayPal account just the same whether paid through PayPal balance, a credit or debit card, or via one of these alternate methods. 

For example a Polish customer would see the following with Przelewy24 as a payment option:
