Smart Search in Heights Platform makes it easy to quickly find anything you need: courses, lessons, products, community channels, and more (right from one convenient search bar). You can even use special commands to jump directly to actions or settings, saving you time and clicks!
How Smart Search Works
You can access Smart Search from the top navigation bar (look for the magnifying glass icon or press Command + K / Ctrl + K on your keyboard). Just start typing what you're looking for: such as the name of a course, lesson, product, project, or community channel. As you type, you'll instantly see relevant results grouped by category.
- Courses: Find and jump to any course in your program.
- Lessons: Search for lessons by title or content.
- Products: Quickly locate digital products you offer.
- Offers: Find bundles and special offers.
- Projects: Access student projects and assignments.
- Community Channels: Jump into discussion channels.
Simply click on any result to go directly to that page.
Using Commands in Smart Search
In addition to searching for content, Smart Search supports commands - special shortcuts that let you perform actions or navigate to important pages even faster. For example, you can type "Create New Course" or just "course" to jump straight to the course creation page.
Commands appear in the search results as you type, based on what you enter. You can use keywords like "create", "settings", "analytics", or "AI" to discover these shortcuts.
